Your beliefs about God will determine your willingness to trust Him. And it’s my prayer that you would fully believe He is good, He does good, and He works all things together for your good. Because the truth is, there’s nothing God cannot do. He really is who He says He is.

No human being, no amount of money and no number on the scale will ever fill the deep longing of your heart. Only Jesus can do that.

We all make mistakes. We all fail. We all blow it. We all say things we shouldn’t say. We all do things we shouldn’t do. We all have unrealized dreams. We all have disappointments. We all have been discouraged. We all have sinned. We all need Jesus. Always.

Wisdom gained from wounds and failures is treasure.

Church is NOT supposed to be a place where “good” people gather. It’s supposed to be a place where guilty people gather to be reminded that because of what Jesus has done for us, we are safe from the judgment we deserve AND unconditionally loved by an amazingly gracious Father.

Stay home. Do chores. No hanging out with your friends. No allowance. I guess we all grounded. 🤔

The good thing about being a Jesus follower is that we never go anywhere he doesn’t go 1st. We may have no clue where all of this is heading but he knows. We’re the generation he chose to walk right behind him in it. We walk in the shadow of the Almighty. He is calm. He is King.

Everyone keeps saying it is very important to keep up with your routines during this quarantine, so I want to let you know that, at this time, I will continue to not work out just like before.

Based on the groups of teenagers I see hanging around, we should be done with this pandemic by 2024. Parents, I know they promised to perfectly stay 6-ft away from friends, but some days you have to remind them to shower and put on deodorant. They might forget. #FriendsCanWait

For the hand-washing I want to do I do not do. But the face-touching I hate to do, this I keep on doing.

Christianity is for sinners: sex addicts, drug dealers, control freaks, murderers, adulterers, alcoholics, gossipers, liars, narcissists, the unforgiving, the arrogant, the greedy, the angry. Jesus came to love bad people to life because bad people are all that there are.
