Sometimes, we feel like we are thriving. And sometimes, we feel like we are just trying to keep out head above water. But whatever the day… we will interact with students and colleagues… which means we WILL make a difference. Every day counts!

The legacy of great teachers is not usually found in the lessons they taught to their students… but in the relationships they built with their students.

When you find yourself saying β€œThis is not what I signed up for...” remember this...yes it is, you just didn’t realize it was a part of what you signed up for. Push through the struggles and focus on the students...the true thing you signed up for.

Let’s never judge each other based on how we taught or currently teach. We all have our own talents, passions and skills to connect w/ students. You can walk in 5 different classrooms & see 5 different teachers being amazing for 5 different reasons! That’s teaching!

A tip to share with parents. If your child struggles with a subject, give them 15 minutes to play or exercise before you focus on that subject with them. It will refresh them, burn off energy and allow them to focus.
