This Fin Friend went in search of turtles at the boardwalk. Mission accomplished…with some bonus finds of a green heron, snakehead fish, blue heron, and lots of birds and bugs!

3rd graders started their year long research project today! They choose a country and then research different aspects of that country aligned with our SS & sci units (geography, economics, government, animals, etc). At the end of the year they produce a book about their country!

A couple of King Lions enjoying the story trail together! It was fun to meet & learn with you! We read a story about a knight who solved problems by sharing books instead of fighting. Great message, great hike, great fun! @_ALarsen

What clues help us know how animals long ago lived and what adaptations did they have? We explored some fossils and artifacts to find out!
