Me: “I’m so tired” Also me: stays up three more hours because it’s the only time no one’s demanding anything from me and the night feels safe and endless.

How time jumped from 2020 to 2026 feels unreal, it’s the fastest 6 years of my life.

Please don’t take it personally when people who talk to people for a living don’t want to talk when they get off of work. Please

Taxing non-income-producing property is wrong. Homeowners should not be forced to work to pay "rent" to the government for the privilege of living in their own homes. Property taxes should only be levied on income-producing property, as the income provides a means to pay the tax.

Why am I paying TAXES on my wages? Then paying Sales Tax to spend my money. Then paying Income Taxes on my money they already TAXED and paying Property Taxes after I already paid Sales Tax on said property!

Paying taxes after you took taxes out my check all year.. We don’t get mad enough man. They got us too trained.

Sleeping 5–7 hours, working 8–9, then squeezing your life into the leftover 2–4 hours, including preparing for tomorrow… that doesn’t really feel like living.

The salary I make now would’ve solved every financial issue I had 10 years ago. Not anymore. So no, we’re not lazy or living above our means. We’re being denied the means to live.

No amount of budgeting can fix the fact that most people no longer make enough money to afford homes, pay bills, buy groceries, cover transportation, or handle basic healthcare. This isn’t a budgeting problem anymore. It’s a cost of living crisis.
