Butler still gets together-school or not! So great to see these faces! Butler Elementary

A4: I used Microsoft Teams Teams for whole group, small group and one-on-one. I conducted Spring conferences. Kids used Padlet to offer ideas and comment on other’s ideas. #ktichat

A5: be kind, patient and understanding but realize that continual learning is important and adults need to model problem-solving and resiliency. #ktichat

A6: I wish I knew that some of my students would seem like completely different learners. Some students surprised me. #ktichat

A7: visiting son who is interning in Yorktown, VA and going to Sea Isle with my friends. And a lot of reading to get ready to be 1:1 next year! #ktichat

6th Grade Packet Pick-Up - last day excitement for our students. It was so nice seeing our students before they head to Unami! Have a great summer!

Sixth graders came back to Butler for a final drive-by. It was happy and sad to see my kids again. Missed the hugs but nice to see the smiles. Butler Elementary

One of my virtual students asked if she could draw me a picture. I had just gotten a picture from my son. She sent me her rendition tonight and I got all choked up. #2020highpoints💜Butler Elementary

Approx 4:37pm #PGFD units were dispatched to the 10000 block of Tucker St in Beltsville for a reported structure fire. On scene crews found a commercial warehouse w/ fire showing from roof. Fire is out, crews monitoring hot spots. No injuries. Fire Investigators en route.

The Butler class of 2020-2021 celebrated their promotion. I could not be more thrilled to go through this unique year with this team. Butler Elementary

Thinking about “Kind Like Joey” today - Butler Staff donated to Hayden’s House - who focus on helping grieving families. Students and staff wore yellow in honor of Joey and his legacy. Kindness Matters!
