Sometimes the default position with fatigue-causing conditions is 'I must do everything I have energy for' - which can often worsen symptoms as we aren't designed to constantly operate at our limits. Looking fine often means being asked to do physically challenging things - and you can feel a lot of pressure to say yes - otherwise people think you are lazy or unkind and not realise it will cause symptoms.
