Michael Wayne Henson, 51, died Monday, November 30, 2020 after a long illness with cancer. He was a firefighter for Highview Fire Department, a graduate of Moore High School and member of Highview Baptist Church.

Today firefighters from across Jefferson County Fire paid their respects to Sgt. Mike Henson. Mikey passed away from cancer earlier this week. Mikey loved being a firefighter. God speed my brother.. It’s the greatest/toughest job that few understand.
