Cassie Coleman, picture of Vera Lucas Goodwin, Latoya Jordan. Goodwin was the long-time principal of Floyd Academy. Latoya Jordan is principal of Lacoochee Elementary School. Floyd Academy was a black school at Moss Town, near Lacoochee. Baseball player Mudcat Grant attended.

This 69" x 82" quilt, on display now at the museum in Sims Park, will be raffled off Feb. 20. Tickets: 1 for $1 and 7 for $5. The quilt, "American Home," was created by the West Pasco Quilters Guild and donated to the WPHS as a fundraiser. Museum hours: 1-5 p.m. Fri., Sat, Sun.
