June is a significant month for the 1st Infantry Division and the Army. Earlier this month our Division Command Team traveled to Normandy, France with a group of hand-selected noncommissioned officers for the 79th Anniversary of D-Day.

Victory Week promotes a culture of victory by connecting the division’s historic past to the present and includes events and competitions for Soldiers and families of the 1st Infantry Division, Big Red One veterans, and distinguished members of the Flint Hills community.
