📷OUTAGE UPDATE: We are experiencing a large outage affecting Prairie Road, River Road, and the south side of Junction City. Approximately 970 customers are affected. A crew has been dispatched but we do not have an estimated time of restoration yet available.

A train incident has a locomotive stopped on the tracks along Front Street, blocking from 1st Avenue through 10th Avenue. The closure could last another hour or so as the investigation continues. At this time, 18th ave is the only route from East / West across town.

An Excessive Heat Watch along with a Fire Weather Watch has been issued for Sunday. An unprecedented heat wave will commence Sunday and end Thursday.

Fall outdoor burning season delayed until October 15th. This is a collaborative decision made by the Lane County Fire Defense Board and the Oregon Department of Forestry. We will post again when burning reopens, and provide information on how to obtain a burn-permit
