You’re more likely to walk past one than hear its rattle 🐍 Michigan’s only venomous snake, the shy, elusive Eastern Massasauga, is disappearing. We’ve teamed up with Michigan Department of Natural Resources, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and other zoos to track 400+ snakes and help protect this vital species.
