PSA: Check your Docker log driver; if it is "journald" your application's logs may be rate limited (i.e., you will be losing logs) and you will find out eternally too late. Use a different log driver or remove limits on journald (see rootusers.com/how-to-change-…). You're welcome.

I've decided that most of Scala's JSON libraries are just too complicated because they want to be pure. uJSON is the only one I've found that just lets me get stuff done without building custom encoders, tons of case classes, etc. Thanks Li Haoyi for the library!
