North Ayrshire Council Council tax has not been increased in North Ayrshire, brown bin permits have not been introduced despite the financial challenges. Unfortunately there will still be cuts to other services, service charges increasing and staff leaving the service to fund the cuts in budgets.

For the fourth time in just over a year, yesterday North Ayrshire Council’s SNP administration voted down Labour’s proposal to provide free school meals to all primary school pupils. Even one Tory councillor supported the motion. Not a single SNP councillor did.

A few days ago, every SNP Councillor in Patricia’s constituency voted against providing free school meals to all primary schools. It’s the fourth time in just over a year they have voted against North Ayrshire Labour’s proposal. Even a Tory Councillor voted for it.
