40 years ago, Atari was cutting its prices. They said it wasn't a fire sale, but it was. The company really was on the skids. Meanwhile, the liquidators of Imagine had possession of their "megagames" Bandersnatch and Psyclapse - which would eventually be bought by Psygnosis.
