On Friday 3rd July, I took ownership of a piece of Bournemouth Transport history in the form of Dennis Dart - M455LLJ. Now undergoing some repairs and a new MOT. Such a rare, fine example and I am pleased to be offered the opportunity to continue its life in preservation.

A 12 year life of 455 in short! A rare production line photo at East Lancs Coachbuilders in early 1995, followed by the photo shoot & launch of the new Dennis Dart for Yellow Buses at Mallard Road, with the final photo in September 2007 as 455 left Yellow Buses in Yeomans Way.

This afternoon was spent on a few small jobs and a deep clean on 455 after some considerable time in storage. The cab is clean, all the glass cleaned, panels, poles and ledges wiped, with the floor, seats and upholstered areas vacuumed and all mopped out!
