Lanzrote Field Class Day 1: We managed to cover so the entire north part of the island yesterday - Including all around Monte Corona! We found lots of Lava flows, plus some interesting marine sediment deposits and lava tubes! 🌋 @BBKEPS Birkbeck, University of London Anna Silvia Stomeo
Lanzarote Field Class Day 2: We got to explore much of the southernmost part of the island today! There were a lot of very prominent dykes as well as poorly cemented pyroclastic material. Also visited a basalt quarry and a beach/lagoon 🤩 @BBKEPS Anna Silvia Stomeo Andrew Rushby
