The V2 Mini sats seem to be collectively lowering their altitude. Jonathan McDowell is this to be expected? Trajectory is certainly uncommon when looking at other Starlink launches.

It's my last day at UCL observatory on Monday. I'm really gonna miss the place. Hopefully, I get to use some observatory telescopes again someday 🥲

Lanzrote Field Class Day 1: We managed to cover so the entire north part of the island yesterday - Including all around Monte Corona! We found lots of Lava flows, plus some interesting marine sediment deposits and lava tubes! 🌋 @BBKEPS Birkbeck, University of London Anna Silvia Stomeo

Lanzarote Field Class Day 2: We got to explore much of the southernmost part of the island today! There were a lot of very prominent dykes as well as poorly cemented pyroclastic material. Also visited a basalt quarry and a beach/lagoon 🤩 @BBKEPS Anna Silvia Stomeo Andrew Rushby

Lanzarote Field Class Day 3: Today I was chosen as the mission leader, and I organised a plan to visit the Timanfaya national park. We also visited Monte Cuervo, a volcanic crater from the 1730 series of eruptions. 🌋 @BBKEPS Anna Silvia Stomeo Andrew Rushby

Your twice-annual warning: Welcome to Off-By-One Week, in which summer time is over for Europeans and not for Americans. Please use caution when scheduling transatlantic zoom meetings.

Standing roughly 120m (400ft) in height, the SpaceX rocket dwarfs any previous launch system. New era in space flight might begin today

Standing at 120 meters, a fully stacked Starship is not only the world’s most powerful launch vehicle but also the tallest. In more technical terms of measurement, Starship is about one Mechagodzilla in height

At some point in the future, SpaceX want Starship launch sites around the world. Musk has said so. I think the UK should proactively seek to be first. If you live here, please sign the petition. If you don't live in the UK, share with someone who does. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/6536…
