I really value the opportunity to hear directly from our leaders about the issues they are facing. Great to catch up with Jayne.Heath and Eva Kannis-Torry from @saspaau this afternoon about the current challenges and opportunities for secondary schools.

Wellbeing needs to be at the centre of anything we do, which is why I’m pleased to have worked with the Federal Government to secure $14.2m to support mental health initiatives in schools. Student voice is so important in any wellbeing discussion.

Kerry O’Brien says it “does not wash” to keep doing the same thing & that the Voice is our first real “chance” O’Brien also calls out politicians who say Indigenous ppl will “abuse” their responsibility & reminds us of the real abuse of power we have today.💥 Brilliant. 😌👏👏

Some days you wake up knowing it’s not a day for the keyboard. Sometimes the fingers just want to do something other than type. #makechain #slowcraft #stillthinking

While I reserve a little skepticism about exercises like this, I also think you don’t get to complain you aren’t listened to … if you don’t speak. This week, I’m putting some time into this and maybe you should too? ministers.education.gov.au/clare/teachers…

At tonight’s Lowitja O’Donoghue Oration in Adelaide, I spoke about how Australians will have the chance to vote Yes to the future we seek to build. Lowitja O’Donoghue was driven by her faith in the Australian people and their instinct for a fair go.
