I got upset at a student today. I was blunt and have thought a lot about my response. Im sad that I didnt go about it the way that could have been positive. I plan to find that student before school starts tomorrow and tell him Im sorry but also discuss how we both can be better.

This happens all too often at all levels of the game. Star athletes receive little to no punishment for their inappropriate actions. Schools and coaches need to step up and do better.

We say goodbye to Leslie Jordan. His last post was of him singing “when the roll is called up yonder”. It wasnt typical of him but what an amazing memory after so many smiles. Fly high Leslie!
