🗣️ Noni Madueke on the Champions League clash this week: “When Eberechi Eze and I came off, we were talking about it man - it’s going to be special! It’s our first time playing in the Champions League so something to thank God for - we’ll try and have fun and get a win!” #afc

I came across an interview of Guardiola somewhere. He was asked if he adapts his system to his players or players to his system. 💬"Both! You can't have one without the other" He is right. You can have a system but still tweak it to suit the strengths of your players!

Good to see we are getting more creative from all over the field. Encouraging. We only need to grow the chemistry between players, pass quicker and create more for Gyökeres. #COYG

We are lacking control in midfield. Eze should play centrally and maybe bring Leo on the LW. Merino adds nothing in midfield (in Arteta's system) if we are to be honest. Arteta should make that change immediately in the 2nd half. #ATBARS

I did not enjoy watching today's game, especially 1st 70 minutes. We won because we had superior quality on the field and bench. But our midfield is so bad to be honest. Very pleased with the 3 points nonetheless. We move onto the next. #COYG

Once again, absence of Partey in our midfield was immensely felt. Arteta has to find a working formula for our midfield because individual quality is there - Eze, Ødegaard, Rice, Zubimendi, Norgaard, Ethan. Something has to click. Huge win for us in the end.
