Shell abandons its project to build one of the largest sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) plants in Europe. Shell launched the Rotterdam project in 2022, but stopped it half way in 2024 to reassess it. Today it said it won’t restart construction. SAF bubble keeps deflating.
