Had to share my own Christine Sinclair moment. Celebrating this icon. Grateful to have had the privilege of working with Christine on Burgers to Beat MS. Such a kind and inspiring person. Thank you for all that you’ve done to support women in sport and to bring awareness to MS.

If you need a therapeutic cry give the Robin Roberts interview with Michael Strahan and his daughter Isabella a watch. Touching, thoughtful, and full of perspective. Some days I miss journalism.

Two weeks of solo travelling and I have so many thoughts. What a remarkable time. I am very blessed (and I don’t love that word but lucky isn’t the right sentiment either). More to come. For now I’m just going to sit in these feelings 🥰.

Grateful for the VIA Rail Canada customer service agent and boarding agent who gave me some quick tips today to get me rebooked on likely the last departing train from Ottawa. Convinced good karma pays off. Will pay it forward!

Incredible to see how far we’ve come in a decade and to know that the funding received from the #ALSIceBucketChallenge has made a real impact. Take the plunge 10 years later and make a donation! donate.als.ca/page/152981/do…

We are lucky to have you contribute to this new series of posts for ALS Canada. Thank you for being open and honest throughout the last five years. Keep making those memories and we’ll continue to share them 💜

Celebrate every moment you CAN do something and you GET to do something. Even when that’s 42.2km… race day tomorrow and feeling the nerves but excitement too! All positive vibes welcome 🫶🏼 #42at42

So proud to be a part of this amazing community to have moved the needle in this way to support people living with ALS and their families.

This one hit home. Although I work in ALS, my mom is in the very early stages of dementia and so “caregiver” takes on new meaning. “It’s when someone needs you physically and emotionally to have a life with purpose, to feel loved.” Needed the reminder. theglobeandmail.com/life/first-per…

“We need more Steve’s in this world.” Yes, yes we do. Incredibly grateful to have known Steve. In fact, we had just emailed a little over a week ago. A great dad, an amazing advocate, and overall a wonderful human. 💜 niagarafallsreview.ca/news/niagara-r…
