Started the day with rough sawn white oak lumber. Wrapping the day up glueing up the new top half for my Rhodes.

Went to the local Walmart tonight. Somehow ended up with a shopping cart that rolled all smooth and nice. Not all janky like every other cart I’ve ever had. Yo, felt like I won the lottery. So nice. I wanted to mark the cart so I could find it next time I come back.

Scrap wood, tools, and a weekend. 12 year-old daughter and I built out a court for her school "valentines box". She's in 6th grade, 6' tall, loves the game, and idolizes BYU Women's Hoops & Utah Jazz

Almost done with my custom Rhodes rebuild. Still need to turn the new legs. Custom white oak cabinet. Rebuilt everything inside and out. I’ve been working at this for a minute. Glad to have it finally coming together.

My unsolicited advice for the Utah Jazz. Jordan Clarkson is the dude. Rebuild needs to happen with him as the center piece. Anything (or anyone) that messes that up needs to go. Also, this Jazz team is hella fun to watch

I put someone up on BEAST today who just hadn't heard yet. Watched as they slowly sat deeper and deeper into their chair listening while a grin grew with each song. Few songs in, they came back and just said "Thank you". Almost somber. Felt like something clicked for 'em.
