Amazing day/night at #punktoberfest in Lowell. All of the bands were amazing.. but The Ghouls absolutely stole the show.

There’s still time, but it appears my top accomplishment of 2024 is going to be discovering that Warren Zevon was saying “Werewolves of London”…. and not “Wh-Wheels of Thunder”. It was a humbling moment.

Braved the snow (I’m a wimp driving in it) to see Dean Johnson perform. It was an amazing show. Loved hearing some of the new songs that will be on the next album.

Pretty sure Groton Hill Music Center is my favorite music venue at the moment. The Pure Dead Brilliant Fiddle Concert last night was quite amazing.

Upgraded from 2nd generation AirPods to AirPods Pro 3… holy smokes… what a difference. If I find it in me to take a break from the new Geese album for a bit, it’s going to be quite a trip replaying all of my other favorite bands with these things on.

Spent the entire evening at the Big Thief show reminiscing on how the “younger me” preferred being down on the floor for shows. Awesome crowd … but this old dude was so grateful the venue had seats too

Had back-to-back stressful work meetings today, and could not stop replaying them in my head hours later.. this trick helped big-time. Posting it to hopefully help me remember it again next time.

Loved this article for many reasons… “Getting Killed” is amazing!…. but especially because it made me reminisce on how cool my Dad was when it came to teaching me about bands, taking me to shows… and also falling in love with the bands I later taught him about.

Incredibly grateful to Count Your Lucky Stars Records for re-releasing this Penfold album on vinyl. Does it make me cry every time? Yes… but dannng what an album.
