Historic day continues! Indy boys finish above all predictions at THIRD as a team in state! This is the best finish in team history for the boys and the fastest average time in school history!

Since 1984 per TSSAA, Jaynie Halterman of Independence is the fastest state cross country runner-up finisher ever. Halterman closed in 17:08.22, 2nd behind Nolensville’s Claire Stegall (16:56.32). This was just 5th time Nos. 1 & 2 broke 18 together regardless of classification.

90 teams in our classification, and our guys finish 3rd. Not bad.
