is the most interesting product Apple has released in years because it's flawed, imperfect and takes big risks. And it does some fascinating things. If I were grading it right now, I would give an A+ for innovation and a C- in product development. Full review to come.

Here's my buying advice for Apple : Most people shouldn't buy one unless you're building an app for it or testing it in your organization or industry. (cc: tip Techmeme)

There are some pretty aggressive deals happening already. The ones from Roborock eero @samsung Blink are especially strong, if you're in the market for any of that gear right now. Here's @zdnet's roundup:

Here's the black iPhone 15 Plus sitting on top of the Space Black 14-inch MacBook Pro (M3 Max). While the Space Black looks great, it's definitely more of a dark gray than a black.

The new MacBook Pro with M3 Max is actually even faster and more responsive than Apple suggested. I ran a real-world test in Adobe Lightroom against 3 other Macs and you can see the chart in my ZDNET review.

Actually, the Magic Keyboard is an incredible stand for the iPad — well balanced and great viewing angles. I use the iPad mostly as a tablet and not a computer and the Magic Keyboard is great for reading and watching videos when eating lunch or on a plane, for example.

The iPhone 15 Pro doesn't come with a USB-C charger, so I made a list of the best USB-C and MagSafe charging accessories on ZDNET. There's even one from Ugreen that looks like a @StarWars gonk droid. Also Anker Belkin @hyper and more.

Like others, I've been using the OnePlus Open for a few weeks now.

Its hardware is excellent, but at $1,700 unlocked (and with no carrier deals) its value in the US compared to Samsung's Z Fold 5 is hard to justify. cnet.com/tech/mobile/on…
