The most complex object in the known universe: brain, only uses 20 watts of power.

It would require a nuclear power plant to energize a computer the size of a city block to mimic your brain, and your brain does it with just 20 watts.

Dr. Michio Kaku, physicist, author and futurist

Be less judgmental. Be more helpful.

Be less argumentative. Be more empathetic.

Be less controlling. Be more collaborative.

Be less cynical. Be more optimistic and hopeful.

Be less interested in being right. Be more interested in doing right.

Be less of an imitator. Be you.

There are two kinds of people: eaters and bakers.

Eaters think the world is a zero-sum game: what someone else eats, they cannot eat.

Bakers do not believe that the world is a zero-sum game because they can bake more and bigger pies.

My father immigrated to the United States at age 44. He worked two jobs, 7 days a week, and went to night school to earn a PhD.

He completed his doctorate after six years, at age 66.

Fight for your happiness. Do not quit on your dreams. Work hard. Be grateful and optimistic.

Instead of asking my 13 year-old son ‘how was school?’ I started asking ‘who did you help today?’.

Our conversations are longer and more interesting. He has developed a habit of being helpful. He is also eager to share.

Lesson: better questions can lead to better the outcomes.

You are not your job.
You are not your parents.
You are not your credit score.
You are not your school diploma.
You are not the clothes you wear.
You are not the size of your network.
You are not your house or neighborhood.

You are the sum of your words, choices and actions.
