We can get cars off fossil fuels, but lithium batteries are beginning to drive an ecological disaster in their own right. We need cleaner cars, yes... but ultimately we need *fewer* cars. And that's something capitalism can't deliver. #degrowth wired.co.uk/article/lithiu…
