In 2006, a stubborn solar array on the ISS refused to fold properly. Astronauts tried several things to fix it, ultimately giving it a poke with an improvised tool. In space, sometimes the simplest solution works best!

Each piece of the International Space Station's truss was designed to fit inside the Space Shuttle's payload bay for delivery. It was a perfect fit!

The spacesuit backpack is called the PLSS (Portable Life Support System) - it has the oxygen tanks, pumps, electronics, and water to cool the suit!
