We're back (exo)! We're excited to introduce our lab's back #exoskeleton, recently published in IEEE Transactions on Robotics (T-RO). Fantastic work by Jared Li, Dean Molinaro, Andrew King, Ani Mazumdar, and Aaron Young.

Our recent study in JNER optimized whole-leg exoskeleton assistance at a range of walking speeds. jneuroengrehab.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11… Are benefits from exo assistance speed dependent? Yes! Does optimized exoskeleton assistance change with walking speed? Not as clearly as you would think. 1/7

Check out our recent study in JNER where we optimized whole-leg exoskeleton assistance with worn loads. jneuroengrehab.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11… Metabolic reductions were similar with all worn loads, and there was not a clear trend in optimized torque profiles. 1/7
