15 years ago, we discovered US food waste progressively increased ~50% since the 1970s. Increased weight accounted for only ~1/3 of the increase of calories in the food supply, with ~2/3 being wasted. There's a calorie oversupply & distribution problem! journals.plos.org/plosone/articl…
