Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour. Bloody brilliant. Three episodes is not enough. Delightful. Entertaining. Educational. Vicarious travel. More please. BBC R Y L A N #grandtour Rob Rinder

I’ve just seen an ad on tv that tells me Budweiser (an American brand) is the “official beer of England” What the effin effin?! #wtf #EURO2024 Er
anyone who claims that US fizzy foreign pop masquerading as proper beer is a substitution for real tasty ale is deluded

What does “plus drinks” mean here?! Are they included as in “food and drinks” or excluded? Not that I can afford to pay for this sort of thing anyway! ⁊The Standard⁩ ⁊Jimi Famurewa⁩

Olympics Games coverage BBC The Olympic Games can you please put the name of the sport on the screen. I saw some hybrid half basketball and I hadn’t a clue what it was. The commentary didn’t even give it a name. Ditto badminton not identified during 15mins of play. Grr!

#Olympics2024 BBC Sport BBC One how about some translations for the closing ceremony? And a better explanation of what they are doing. I haven’t got a clue what they are singing about. Not like it hasn’t been rehearsed is it?! #translation #subtitles

Pic from yesterday’s ⁊The Standard⁩ - yet more Swift promo. Is this news? Really?. Starting to think TS has shares in the paper. ⁊Dylan Jones⁩

Please everyone, stop being so mean and judgemental. The ‘experts’ persist in matching people who are clearly not suitable for ‘entertainment’ purposes. Caspar is right, they are messing with their lives. It’s appalling. #mafsuk

Well, Susie Dent I have a question that I have yet to find a decent answer for: why do we use the word ‘well’ like this? Well well well (one more than The Bard)
it is indeed jolly strange. Also, the use of ‘jolly’ in that sense. Eh?! The wonder of words.

⁊Aldi Stores UK⁩ please explain how you “select” these fishcakes. Also, re the photography, it’s misleading, not as shown on the pack. The insides are mushy; there are no recogisable peas in there. But they are tasty and I will probably buy them again.
