In 2016 (11 years after her #Stroke) mum saw MRI images of her brain for the first time, when she took part in a study. It would have helped her understanding to see scan images earlier in her recovery. More text in pics 💜

Nearly 17 yrs after #Stroke Jan still has firsts! Whilst looking after my dog Bobby (featured in vid😆)she felt able & confident enough to walk Bob down her street to the park! Not easy & probably not perfect H&S but sometimes a bit of risk is OK 😳👍🐕 #Aphasia #Gesture
