33 years ago today I headed off to a concert in London. As flurries of snow fell, I caught the eye of Ian and that chance encounter was to change my life irrevocably. The young 22 year old me never thought #HIV would impact my life, how wrong I was! Still here to tell my story.

Back for my 8th visit to Oakham School yesterday to share my Positive Voice HIV talk with 7th form pupils Oakham Upper School. Many thanks to all who asked questions; great to be able to share up to date knowledge with young people before they head off to university and beyond.

23 years ago today the BBC broadcast the documentary 'Positive Women' featuring me, Nicki and Sarah. It was surreal seeing my face across the newspaper reviews. My mum said if I went on TV to talk about living with #HIV I would never hear from her again...no contact ever since.

On my Easter break from delivering my Positive Voice #HIV talks to schools so kept myself busy with this 2,000 piece jigsaw puzzle.

Great evening Kempton Park Racecourse yesterday seeing the two horses I have shares in run their first race of the season. Fortunate to get an Owners Badge in the ballot so got to go in the parade ring and hear from the trainer James Fanshawe and the jockeys before and after each race.

Delighted to make my first visit to Sandy Secondary School this afternoon to share my Positive Voice HIV talk with 6th formers as part of the school's Personal Development Day. Lovely interaction with students, excellent questions and laughter too.

Huge thanks to MrsCripps for inviting me back to Bishop Challoner's for Year 11's Relationships Day. First took part 25 years ago and it's been a highlight of each year ever since.
Two fantastic talks today, both groups engaged with my talk and lots of questions from pupils.

When I first spoke SHS Sixth Form in 2003 I could never have imagined still making an annual visit in 2024. A fantastic Year 12 audience today, asking some excellent, thoughtful questions. Ensuring young people have up to date knowledge about HIV is so important to me.

Returned to King's Worcester for my annual visit to speak to Year 13 pupils. First spoke here in 2007, much has changed with #HIV since then. Love that I can share knowledge about #uequalsu , PREP and treatments as well as my personal journey of over 3 decades living with HIV.

Delivered the Sunday service and demonstration of clairvoyance Stockwell Spiritualist Church this evening. This part of my life has sustained me through the toughest of times and I credit my work for spirit as part of the reason I am still here. The power of connection for me is undeniable.
