Second school visit of the day Wirral Grammar School for Boys Wirral Grammar School for BoysSixthForm to speak with Year 13 pupils. Wonderful audience, with some excellent questions asked. Sharing my experiences from 33 years living with HIV. Huge thanks to Mrs Wilson for inviting me back for third consecutive year.
Delighted to return to Wirral Grammar Girls this morning to talk with a fantastic Year 12 audience about living with HIV. Sharing knowledge and experiences from my diagnosis in 1991 to life as a long-term survivor today. Information about PREP, HIV testing and U=U shared with everyone.
Back for my 8th visit to Oakham School yesterday to share my Positive Voice HIV talk with 7th form pupils Oakham Upper School. Many thanks to all who asked questions; great to be able to share up to date knowledge with young people before they head off to university and beyond.

Great evening Kempton Park Racecourse yesterday seeing the two horses I have shares in run their first race of the season. Fortunate to get an Owners Badge in the ballot so got to go in the parade ring and hear from the trainer James Fanshawe and the jockeys before and after each race.
Delighted to make my first visit to Sandy Secondary School this afternoon to share my Positive Voice HIV talk with 6th formers as part of the school's Personal Development Day. Lovely interaction with students, excellent questions and laughter too.
When I first spoke SHS Sixth Form in 2003 I could never have imagined still making an annual visit in 2024. A fantastic Year 12 audience today, asking some excellent, thoughtful questions. Ensuring young people have up to date knowledge about HIV is so important to me.
New exercise regime now includes an 11lb weighted vest. Beautiful Spring afternoon to get in 5 miles and 250 squats. 33 years living with #HIV so I know the importance of doing what I can to maintain my physical and mental well-being. #hivpositive #exerciseworks #fitinmy50s
