We loved helping Grandpa in the garden. We weeded the flower beds and watered the #scarlet roses; Irish Gran’s favourite.

When we had a rest, Gran brought out a tray of lemonade and cake on crocheted doilies. Grandpa turned the radio on and had a puff on his pipe. #vss365
