Fireball this Sunday evening off the East Coast of Scotland. Just after quarter to ten it was caught by a few cameras of ukmeteornetwork. From #Lochearnhead it just dropped off the edge of this cropped fisheye shot. Mars top left, Procyon middle right. Popular Astronomy Bill Ward

And another #meteor in nearly the same part of sky an hour and 40 minutes later at 23h06m08s UT. Of meteor showers, the #Geminids are gone, #Ursids all but over, but the sporadics are still a-popping! The green banding is airglow, which we've had a lot of this year.
