Dynamically pricing based on available inventory is the only way to scale and manage inventory in any manner that actually maximizes total contribution. Additionally, defending against sold out variants by yielding price up is just as important as reducing prices on overstock.

I get the sentiment but what evidence do we have that Brian is actually moving $ABNB in the right direction? $BKNG is up 100% in the past five years while Airbnb is down 20%. Hardcore inventory expansion and guest cost reduction are the levers that need to be pulled.
