Congratulations to Pediatric Anesthesia Research Team (PART) trainee James Taylor, who won a Lightning Talks competition prize at the 2022 UBC Anesthesiology Residency Program Research Day for his work on a facilitated peer discussion pilot program for improving anesthesia resident wellness! BC Children's Hospital Research Institute

What started out as a small Summer Student Research Project with Dr Zoë Brown has turned into so much more. Excited for the change our resident wellness research is already inspiring. Thank you to Nick Smith for doing an amazing job representing us at #CPAS2022! Pediatric Anesthesia Research Team (PART)

Attempting to measure respiratory variations of transvalvular flow for a patient with a moderate sized pericardial effusion - so cool to assess tamponade physiology in real-time. Have learned an incredible amount on my UBCIMPOCUS elective - can't recommend it enough!

A day late, but genuinely so proud of Canada Soccer. We out played the World’s second ranked team on the biggest stage. It was also incredible to see a Canadian pub packed at 11AM on a Wednesday to support the lads. 🇨🇦

Very proud of the important conversation this research has started, as well as the positive change it has already led to. Thank you to my incredible co-authors, UBC Anesthesiology Residency Program residents for participating, and Pediatric Anesthesia for publishing our work! Link: doi.org/10.1111/pan.14…

An absolute dream come true to be joining the UBC Anesthesiology Residency Program family, especially with this amazing group of co-residents 🔥 Thank you to everyone who helped me on this journey - there are far too many of you. Couldn’t be more excited to be starting this next chapter. Congrats c2023!

Almost forgot about this account... This recently published case report in International Journal of Obstetric Anesthesia describes how we managed lumbar epidural analgesia in a patient with a low thoracic type I extradural meningeal cyst. doi.org/10.1016/j.ijoa…
