“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Matt 27:46) Somehow the unchanging, unchangeable Father forsook the unchanging, unchangeable Son. Jesus was forsaken by the Father, so that those who trust in him would never be.

I have presided over funeral services for more than a dozen babies miscarried at various stages of pregnancy. Parents do grieve. Some observe the anniversary of their miscarriages, solemnly and sorrowfully, for years.

Today my dog was diagnosed with codependency. That's also sometimes called, "being a dog."
