Today the Government voted against the Greens bill to make pricegouging illegal. The big supermarkets are posting billions in profits, while some of their own workers can't afford the food they're selling. But Labor are voting against solutions that will fix the problem.

The Prime Minister enjoyed free university. Purchased an affordable home. Was able to grow up in public housing cos government built way more public housing. Again. People aren't angry about that. They are angry he is denying millions that same opportunity today.

My colleague Aiv Puglielli MP asked Minister Shing about a public housing site (94 homes) in Heidelberg demolished by Labor. She confirmed that there will be ZERO public homes built, 53 community homes and 407 private. That’s a 100% loss of public housing. That’s privatisation.

Anyone who has ever worked for a labour hire company can relate to you, Maggie. I'm glad this destructive loophole has been closed. #auspol

What if, like Norway, we taxed our big corporations instead of taxing students for their education? We could make uni free, fund dental & mental into Medicare, and build hundreds of thousands of homes people can actually afford. It’s been done around the world - why not here?

Politics is about choices and instead of taxing multinational corporations fairly, Labor and the Liberals are leaving students with huge debts, when the Prime Minister went to uni for free.

The Greens will pave the way for a 4-day work week. That’s less hours, same pay. For too long productivity gains have resulted in profits for bosses & shareholders while workers burn out. With successful trials across the world, it’s time we follow suit here.

Renters are getting smashed. Yet Labor and Liberal back unlimited rent increases & $176b in handouts to wealthy property investors. You can't keep voting for the same two parties and expecting a different result. Vote Greens to cap rent increases & give renters rights.
