Thank you Lade Smith CBE. It is refreshing to see a change of tone from Royal College of Psychiatrists with a new President - unafraid, honest, compassionate, ambitious for patients. It goes to show how organisational culture is set at the top. Now all psychiatrists need to live up to this example.
Our President Lade Smith CBE warns that discrimination against people with severe mental illness prevents them from seeking help and cuts lives short. She has called for prejudice to be stamped out so that people can lead fulfilling lives. Read more here⬇️

James Downs We need more nurses, Family therapists, Specialised CBT therapists, trained for eating disorders, we need AFIRD clinics, the referrals we are getting are more complex than ever, referrals coming through with children 62% weight for height, GP training, schools training NO STAFF
