Oscar Peterson was a musical giant, whose likeness you can now hold in the palm of your hand! LISTEN NOW on 91.5fm or on the CBC Listen app -- we're talking to the designer behind the new commemorative one-dollar coin in the pianist and composer's honour.

images.app.goo.gl/xwqSrKpguZNRhY… Buddy, can you spare an Oscar? Great to see the image of Oscar Peterson on Canada's $1 coin.

And yet, front-runner Pierre Poilievre opposes vaccinations of all kinds. Polio makes COVID look like a light cold. thestar.com/news/gta/2022/… via Toronto Star

PP has been my MP, or so he says, for many years. I can’t name a single positive thing he’s done during that time. And people want him to be PM? It’s a joke.

JamesHale (@jameshale) 's Twitter Profile Photo

If PP has so much support from young voters, let’s see him give them more ways to vote, instead of systematically cutting them out, as he has for years. Time and time again he has fought to disenfranchise them. It’s all in the Parliamentary record.

Trump's new agenda: 1. Death for drug dealers 2. Tent cities for the homeless 3. Send in the National Guard 4. Fire federal employees 5. Abolish the Department of Education 6. Old-school Canadian elections What could go wrong? washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/…

A whole lot of weasel words in there. And I say that as someone who once worked with Bell's various CEOs and Presidents.

Having seen the names of the victims on the Saskatchewan reserve... am I the only one who thinks the RCMP wasn't completely forthcoming with their initial reports about not recognizing a connection between targets of the brutal attacks? Shades of Nova Scotia.

JamesHale (@jameshale) 's Twitter Profile Photo

It seems the RCMP learned nothing from the Nova Scotia mass killings. Every leak about Myles Sanderson's self-inflicted wounds, ties to the murder victims, and previous attack on some of them makes the force look worse. The RCMP loves to keep things to themselves: impossible.

Look! That lyin' Washington Post finally got something right: "A defeated former president running for election again while facing potential criminal indictment is unprecedented in U.S. history." 😉 And so, it begins again.
