WEATHER HEADLINES Here's what we are tracking the next few days.

With every passing day the high temperature on Thanksgiving Day looks warmer and warmer. Just four days ago the European model had a high in Philly of 38 degrees. As of today it's 53!

BUS STOP CHILL With winds Northwest 12-20mph the wind chills will be below freezing as you head out in the morning. Bundle up winds stay with us much of the day.

TRANQUIL TRAVEL The latest data suggests no weather woes for travel across the Mid Atlantic next week when everyone will be heading off to visit family and friends.

FRIDAY AFTERNOON Temps will be near 50, but wind chills in the low 40s thanks to Northwest winds around 12-25mph. Winds will relax as we head toward evening.

TRAVEL DELAYS Are pretty much non-existent across much of the country and should remain that way over the next 2 big travel days. No big weather systems to worry about this year!

MAINLY DRY THIS WEEK Except for a round of pre-dawn showers on Wednesday. Quickly turns sunny in the morning and smooth travel expected for most of the big travel day.

PARADE FORECAST Despite cool temps this is a good forecast for the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Lots of sunshine with light northwesterly winds. Balloons will be a go. Dress warmly and come out and enjoy!

WET START If you are heading out around 6 or 7am expect to see some steady to moderate rain. Dries out quickly behind it for rest of day.

PARADE FORECAST A chilly morning for the start of the 6abc Dunkin Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade. Thankfully winds will be light and we'll have lots of sun.

BLACK FRIDAY A chilly start to the day, but turning milder for the afternoon. Southwest winds 3-6mph. Highs in the low 50s.

NO SIGN OF WINTER Over the next few days as we head toward December. The jet stream will be up along the U.S./Canadian border.

CHANGES ARE COMING Late next week into the middle of December. A persistent trough looks to set up in the eastern part of the country. While it does look like we will be dealing with cold temps its too early to talk chances of snow.

Clouds hanging tough this morning keeping temperatures on the chilly side.

SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL Cloudy, cool and a slight chance of showers is in the forecast for the Eagles in Seattle.

HAPPY FRIDAY! The showers from tonight will be long gone and sunshine will be back. High temps running around 4 degrees above normal for the first day of December.

Once the pattern changes Wednesday things are going to get very interesting around here. A coastal low will develop near the Carolinas and head north. Right now its off the coast but we'll have to watch it. Then another low will move east from the Great Lakes next weekend.

The cold that is coming by mid week is only just the beginning. Look at the 11-15 day outlook! Wow, that's some cold stuff!
