1/ Always been baffled by going ons at Ghana's National Lotteries Auth. An actress who campaigned hard for the ruling party & said she "hasn't been rewarded" just got a top-tier license. No biggie. But many private lotto folks still don't have theirs after paying fees yrs ago.

2/ Some that got their license (eg Alpha Lotto) were blocked from running their own games as those classed as "collaborators" can do (eg. the Actress). No clear rules as to why. Some operators like Luckweb/Tenlot no longer have licenses but have games on the NLA site itself. 🤔

3/ This is the same NLA that in Dec 2018 bought thousands of POS machines at $850 each from TekStark when the orig Shenzhen vendor sells at $300. POS devices now rendered useless bcos the same NLA was busily signing deals to shift lotteries to telco shortcodes, apps & online. 🤷🏾‍♂️
