Our first visit on the final day of the BGS Summer Meeting was to Marshalls Farm. Kate Lywood and Jeremy Way explained about their organic spring calving dairy herd. We also heard about herbal leys, parasitic wasps and methods of reducing heat stress in the herd Dorset Grassland Society


What a fantastic visit to end our 2024 Summer Meeting. Thank you to Andrew & Chris Hodgkins for the tour around their Locks flock of 3000 NZ Romneys. We took in part of the South Downs Way as we went, with fabulous views from the top Dorset Grassland Society Barenbrug UK Cotswold Seeds
