Big pictures and big ideas kick off the #uncwaterandhealth conference. Easy to be cynical about 2050 concepts when so many people are struggling still today, but it is important to keep a horizonal view. Still, so much work needs to get done year after year to get there.

Water subsidies are needed to serve those most in need, but still only 6% of subsidies are going to the poorest 20% of people. Targeted subsidies must improve #uncwaterandhealth
