Real victory is not when God does everything you like, changes all the negative circumstances, fixes all the people that get on your nerves. Real victory is when all that happens, but it doesn’t bother you anymore. You’re content while God is working right where you are.

Here’s the key: they didn’t give the blessing, which means they can’t take the blessing. The blessing was put on you by your Heavenly Father. No person can stop the blessing, the purpose, the destiny that God has laid out for you.

God never asked you to figure out the how. In fact, the Scripture says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding.” We serve a supernatural God. He can make things happen we couldn’t make happen.

God is about to make some things beautiful in your life. Whether you made the mistakes or life threw you some curves at no fault of your own—bad breaks, disappointments—God saw it. Your time is coming. He didn’t bring you this far to leave you.

Other people may not see your value. They may discount you, leave you out, try to make you feel less than. The only way that will stop you is if you let them convince you that you’re not valuable. Tune all that out and get in agreement with God.

Life happens to us all. Rain falls on the just and the unjust. The difference with the just, with people that honor God, is God promises to take what was meant for harm and turn it for your good.

When you have the right attitude, you can look at your most challenging situations and make it through by choosing to set your eyes on God's promises. You'll quiet the discouraging voices through faith and believing that God will lead you into all He has for you.

It’s tempting to stay down, live bitter, give up on your dreams. After all, you have a good excuse. You may have a reason, but God still has a great purpose in front of you. He said, “He would pay you back double for the unfair things.”

If you’re waiting to perform perfectly before you feel good about who you are, you’ll be waiting your whole life. You have to accept yourself while you’re in the process of changing.

Life constantly reminds us of our heartaches and challenges. It's easy to end up overwhelmed by anxiety and stress. Jesus knows what you’re facing and He says, "Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows; but cheer up, for I have overcome the world" (John 16:33).

The reason some people are frustrated is not because He’s not going to do what He promised, but it’s not going to happen the way you think, when you think, with whom you think. Be at peace with His plan. Hold tightly to your dreams, but hold loosely to how it’s going to happen.

Average faith is not going to cut it. To overcome forces that are trying to stop you, you can’t have ordinary faith. To leave your mark, you can’t simply believe like everyone else. You have to dare to believe big and take the limits off of God.

David was the youngest son, the smallest, the least experienced. But God said in Psalm 89, “I have selected David from common people to become king.” You may feel common, ordinary, but you don’t know what God has lined up for you.
