Great patience by Darnold. Playing hurt. Every throw irritating his oblique. Can’t imagine the pain he’s playing through. I get emotional thinking about it. 😢

I'm no expert on throwing mechanics or musculature, but I wondered about Darnold rolling to his left tonight with his left oblique injury. You can picture the strain there when a QB torques his body to throw on the run. But Darnold set his feet here and delivered a strike.
