After a disastrous visit last June when 90% of the rides were closed, we decided to give Alton Towers Resort another chance today. Now been stood in yet another queue for an hour … and the ride has just closed. Seems to be a pattern again today. Absolutely ridiculous.

Queued for sub terra for 30 minutes. Got to the front of the queue. Ride closes. We have been here since 11 am and have been on one ride. Alton Towers Resort. We are going to West Midlands Safari Park next year!
