Immaculate inning from todays scrimmage against Boyertown.

Whippets win 4-2 over Avon Grove. Matt DiOttavio belted a 3-run HR while Stephen Furia and Jay Slater both doubled twice to lead the offense. Zach Griffin went 5IP to earn the win and Jake Mello closed it out with 2 scoreless innings.

Whippets get the win 4-0 over Henderson. Drew Turner (5IP, 9K) and Jake Mello (2IP, 0H, 2K) combined on a 2-hit shutout. Mello also went 2-3 at the plate with an RBI and Jake Kucera went 2-2 with a 2B and an RBI.

West 8 Kennett 0- Steven Furia, Austen Frye, and Brett Connolly combined on a 2-hit shutout with 14 Ks. Jake Kucera, James Posner, and Jay Slater all went deep and Jake Mello went 2-3 with an RBI.

Whippets walk off with a 4-3 win over Coatesville. Jake Kucera went 3-4 and drew a bases loaded walk to score Brett Connolly, who led off the 7th with a triple. Jay Slater went 2-2 and Jake Mello picked up the W with 3 scoreless innings in relief.

Whippets beat Avon Grove 2-0 behind 6 shutout innings and 10Ks from Drew Turner. Jake Mello closed it with 2Ks for the save. Brett Connolly went 2-2 and drove in both runs and Stephen Furia added two hits and scored a run.

Whippets get a big win 3-2 over WC East. Jake Mello knocked in Nate Epstein in the top of the 7th to take the lead. Mello went 2.1 innings of scoreless relief to earn the win. Great effort from Zach Griffin, who tossed 4.2 IP allowing only 2 hits.

Whippets are Ches-Mont National Champions! West defeats Downingtown East 3-2. Jay Slater drove in Stephen Furia for the go ahead run in the 5th inning. Drew Turner went 5 innings for the W and Jake Kucera went 2-2 with a run scored.
