Heaven forbid that we look to people with knowledge and expertise in science, medicine, and pandemics to help guide us during a pandemic. Unbelievable.

Fauci has been studying science since college in 1957. He has been the country’s infectious-disease leader since 1984. Yet many who have “studied” this virus for 10 weeks feel it fair and righteous to call him a fraud and believe media screamers. - We need to trust scientists.

I don’t think it is selfish to be sad about the personal losses that come with this lockdown. It is selfish to be sad about *only* those personal losses. It is entirely human to be sad about things missed while also knowing it’s right to miss them. 1/

As the rich get richer and unemployment hits nearly 40% it's a good time to remember that trickle down economics was always a scam.

Perhaps something is gravely wrong with a system where billionaires add $400 billion to their wealth during a pandemic that ravages the rest of the population?

Women were not *given* the right to vote. They won it for themselves through sheer force of will. Generations of women & girls fought to be heard. Today, we honor their leadership as we mark 101 years since the House passed the 19th Amendment.

Historian here. We almost never use statues to teach history. We have a whole bunch of more efficient tools at our disposal, like, you know, BOOKS. What’s happening is that these young people HAVE learned the history, and that’s why they’re pulling down the statue. 💪🏽
